Alicia Witt

Alicia WittAlicia Witt started acting at age 14 when she appeared in the film Dune as Alia. In 1990, she played the role of Gersten Hayward in the cult classic, Twin Peaks. Since then, she's played roles in over 50 productions including television series Cybil, Ally McBeal, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Friday Night Lights. Alicia is also a classically trained pianist and accomplished singer/songwriter wo performs her original songs at venues across the country, from Hotel Cafe and Universal Citywalk in Los Angeles to Joe’s Cafe and The Living Room in New York. She combined her acting talents with her skills as a classically trained pianist in the romantic comedy Playing Mona Lisa (2000). For this role, Alicia won a Best Actress Award at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. In 1998, Alicia starred in Columbia Tristar's hit movie Urban Legend (1998). She starred in the romantic comedy Two Weeks Notice (2002) opposite Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock and appeared in The Upside of Anger (2005) opposite Kevin Costner and Joan Allen. Currently, Alicia is on tour promoting her new album, Live at Rockwood, and will appear soon in Raging Bull II.
