Brian Crawley

Brian CrawleyBrian Crawley is a playwright and screenwriter. His plays have been staged at Lincoln Center, The New York Theater Workshop, and the Eugene O'Neill Summer Theater Conference, and many regional theaters across the country. His best-known works include Violet (2003), which won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. For the libretto of Violet, Brian won the prestigious Kleban Award. Brian wrote the book and lyrics for A Little Princess (2004), which has been staged across the country. In 2011, Ghostlight Records release the world premiere recording of A Little Princess. Brian is presently at work on a new musical entitled Down There.
